Sherry Bahler

Since 2011, I have been dedicated to my work as a Massage Therapist in Brooks, Alberta. I graduated in 2012 with a 2200-hour Massage Therapy diploma from Medicine Hat College, but my journey in this field began even earlier, as I gained invaluable hands-on experience between my first and second years of study.

My approach to massage therapy is fundamentally focused on its therapeutic benefits, with a strong interest in interpreting the signals conveyed by soft tissue structures. In 2017, I completed both Level I and Level II Shockwave - AIRPWT™ training under the guidance of Brent Moreau at Active Solutions for Health. Additionally, I have successfully finished an extensive five-course series in Rapid-NRF comprehensive training, which has qualified me as a specialist in this technique.

In November 2022, I completed an intensive certification program focused on temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunctions, and I am now fully certified to treat TMJ-related conditions. I also prioritize building collaborative relationships with local physicians, chiropractors, and dentists to provide integrated care for my clients. Furthermore, I have participated in numerous cadaver dissection courses with Anatomy Trains, granting me a clear understanding of what occurs beneath the skin and within our deep structures as human beings.

From 2020 to 2023, I served as a Massage Therapy Instructor at East West College of Business and Technology, playing an essential role in educating and nurturing the next generation of practitioners.

OUR SERVICES

Sherry Bahler, Registered Massage Therapist

RAPID NeuroFascial Reset

This hands-on therapy targets key fascial zones rich in nerve endings to relieve pain at its source. Through precise manual techniques combined with guided movements, tight muscles loosen, mobility improves, and inflammation reduces, often within just a few sessions.

Shockwave Therapy

Using focused acoustic waves, this non-invasive treatment breaks down scar tissue and stimulates blood flow to accelerate healing. It’s effective for chronic pain, adhesions, and calcium deposits, with many patients noticing significant relief after one or two sessions.

TMJ Care and Jaw Therapy

Specialized manual and intraoral techniques address jaw dysfunction and related symptoms like pain, clicking, and headaches. Comprehensive assessments and targeted treatments help restore proper joint function and reduce discomfort.

Our Approach to Pain Management

We specialize in non-invasive, evidence-based therapies that enhance your body's inherent ability to heal. Each treatment is customized to address your specific needs, striving for enduring results without the need for surgery or injections. While we are trained massage therapists, we do not provide traditional massage therapy services. Our clinic is an oil-free, pain treatment center that exclusively offers Rapid-NFR, Shockwave Therapy, and TMJ dysfunction treatment. Patients are not required to remove any clothing during their sessions.
